Behavior Intervention Specialist

Our Behavior Intervention Specialists (“BIS”) play a critical role in creating a culture of success, safety and intellectual growth in Mosaica-managed schools.  Utilizing the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (“PBIS”) model, a BIS will implement and maintain a school-wide system of behavioral expectations, as well as work with teachers on classroom management and on individual student interventions.  Data collection, analysis and practical implementation of positive behavior management are used to create a healthy classroom environment where students are encouraged to grow and learn.

We seek candidates that have 3 years or more managing positive behavior applications, preferably in a K-8 educational setting but may also need high school experienced personnel in the near future.  Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field and be certified or licensed as required by state law.
