Mosaica Leadership Institute
Mosaica Education, Inc. is excited to announce the opportunity to apply for the 2009 – 2010 edition of the Mosaica Leadership Institute Talent Development Academy. This program is designed to enhance our ability to offer exciting leadership opportunities that come with Mosaica’s continuing success and growth. We are soliciting applications from outstanding teachers and educational leader for opportunities that are created at our schools in the U.S. or for future projects that we will be launching in the Middle East, India or Latin America. We are particularly keen to identify aspiring Lead Teachers, Curriculum Implementation Specialist and Chief Administrative Officers for placement in U.S. and international Mosaica schools. MLI is a strategic approach to identify and develop school leaders from both internal and external sources. In an endeavor to build a team of educational leaders whose talent, vision and energy wield a dramatic national impact on excellence in public education, Mosaica launched the Mosaica Leadership Institute. This is an internal training program designed to prepare future leaders for Mosaica schools. We are excited to announce our newest MLI program that will start in March 2010.
Participants attend interactive workshops that provide them with key information, strategies and resources to hone their skills as true instructional leaders. They will also gain the tools needed to lead and support their teachers successfully in creating an effective classroom, implementing the curriculum and, in turn, helping all students meet state standards.
This series of two day sessions will be scheduled from January thru June, 2010.
These workshops include:
• Increasing student achievement through data driven instruction
• Finance & accounting
• Hiring, training and mentoring of employees
• Understanding our customer
• Charter school law and development
• Creating systems to foster and support community building
Qualifications: Masters Degree in education or related field, as well as a minimum of three years experience as a CAO/principal or related position of school leadership. Applicants will be asked to provide data that illustrates gains made in achieving AYP.
