MOSAICA TURNAROUND PARTNERS SELECTED AS AN EXTERNAL SERVICE PROVIDER BY THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

ATLANTA, GA. (Mosaica Education, Inc.) – Mosaica Turnaround Partners has been granted approval status by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to be an external service provider under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Section 1003(g) School Improvement Grants (SIG).

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended, Title I, Part A, Section 1003(g) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act authorizes the State of Michigan to grant funds to Local Education Agencies (LEA) for the purpose of turning around the lowest performing schools.  The goal of the SIG is to improve student achievement in the persistently lowest achieving schools eligible to receive Title I funds and Title I schools identified for improvement, corrective action, or restructuring to enable those schools to make adequate yearly progress (AYP) and exit improvement status.

Eligible school districts or public school academies applying for the SIG grant may contract with Mosaica Turnaround Partners or another approved external service provider to assist in meeting the goals and objectives of their selected intervention model(s).
